Skiers can recharge their energy and enjoy some hearty fare at the many mountain hut restaurants distributed throughout the ski resort. Most of the ski huts are table-service restaurants offering high-quality food. The highest concentration of mountain huts can be found on the Seceda, the sunny pleasure-seekers’ mountain above St. Cristina.

Sofie hut

At the Fermeda 4-person chairlift on the Seceda at 2,410 m

The Sofie is the highest mountain hut on the Seceda and has the largest cellar of fine wines in the Dolomites. You can enjoy top-quality cuisine and wines in the cosy dining rooms with large panoramic windows and a perfect view of the Sassolungo. The menu includes dishes such as grilled king prawns, lamb, steak and home-made pasta with porcini mushrooms. South Tyrolean specialities are also served. From tasty appetisers to sophisticated desserts, you are in for a treat here. Don’t miss the chance to try the home-made gin 8025. In fine weather, there is an inviting sun terrace with a view of the Sassolungo, There is something for everyone here!

Comici hut

Located on the Piz Sella at 2,154 metres

The Comici hut is the highest fish restaurant in the Dolomites. It serves fresh fish from the Adriatic daily. The Comici “Apéro” experience right outside the hut is highly recommended. In fine weather, there is an inviting sun terrace.

Fienile Monte

On the Sella Pass at 2,270 m

From the outside, the ski hut looks much smaller than it actually is. The Fienile Monte hut is located in the outermost section of the ski resort of Val Gardena on the Sella Pass. It serves high-quality cuisine and fine wines. The hut also boasts one of the largest wine cellars of all the huts in the Dolomites.

L'Angolino Passo Sella

In the Dolomiti Mountain Resort on the Passo Sella at 2,180 m

The exclusive gourmet restaurant L'Angelino has been completely renovated for the 2017/18 season. Located in the Dolomiti Mountain Resort on the Passo Sella, it offers excellent cuisine, including fresh meat and fish dishes. A selection of fine wines completes the offering.

Piz Setëur hut

On the Piz Setëur at 2,063 m

The Piz Seteur hut has an amazing sun terrace, typical dining rooms and a stunning panoramic view. In the upper section, there is option of dining "à la carte" in the Piz restaurant, which offers excellent cuisine and an exclusive wine list. The lower section is self-service. There is an attractive bar right outside the Piz Setëur hut. Twice a week, music and entertainment are provided directly on the ski slope with a DJ and dancing girls.

Daniel hut

At the Fermeda 4-person chairlift on the Seceda at 2,240 m

A selection of fine South Tyrolean and Italian wines, as well as the finest grappa, fruit brandies, cognac and armagnac promise a treat for gourmets. The restaurant serves South Tyrolean specialities. In fine weather, the large sun terrace with an amazing view of the Sassolungo is an inviting place to sit.

Gamsblut hut

At the Col Raiser valley run

The main focus in the Gamsblut hut is typical, local cuisine. There is a wide selection of dishes to enjoy here - from a small snack to a hearty meal and delicious desserts.

Panorama hut

At the base station of the Panorama ski lift on the Dantercepies at 2,130 m

The Panorama hut was built in 1963 and serves traditional regional cuisine. The friendly waiting staff wear traditional dress. The cosy dining rooms are perfect places to relax for a while. In fine weather, there is a large sun terrace with a bar.

Salei hut

On the Sella Pass at 2,225 m

The Salei hut was built in 1967 and completely renovated in 2006. Inside, there is a self-service restaurant, bars, a pizzeria and a very good table-service restaurant. The fame of its Kaiserschmarrn (traditional pancake dish) has spread beyond Val Gardena’s borders. In fine weather, there is a large sun terrace and a bar.

On the valley run from the Seceda to Ortisei at 1,360 m

Cosy mountain restaurant serving South Tyrolean specialities. The perfect place to end your ski day, in front of the open fire with a drink.
