The romantic mountain village of Heiligenblut surrounds the Pfarrkirche Heiligenblut (church) at 1301 m. The Pfarrkirche Heiligenblut with the Großglockner (highest mountain in Austria) in the background is one of the most popular photo shots in Austria. The Rossbach gondola lift goes up right from Heiligenblut. The accommodation offering ranges from a full pampering program in a 4-star hotel to inns, bed and breakfast hotels, private accommodations and farm houses - so there is something for everyone. Some of the accommodations are located directly at the base station of the gondola lift. There are also some accommodations in the ski resort itself, directly on the slopes, such as the highest inn in Austria - the Wallackhaus.
