Advanced skiing/powder snow skiing Gurgl – Obergurgl-Hochgurgl

Experienced skiers can find difficult slopes on the Festkogl in Obergurgl, on the Wurmkogl and the Vorderer Wurmkogel and at the Große Karbahn lift in Hochgurgl. Absolute experts will be challenged by the freeriding terrain on the Hohe Mut in Obergurgl and the various ski routes. However, Hochgurgl also has a lot of free, unsecured ski terrain. Which explains why the “Open Faces” freeride event takes place in Gurgl each year. The event attracts freeriders from all over the world to Obergurgl and Hochgurgl.
