The Hinterstoder ski resort has some attractive difficult slopes. The highlights are the Hannes-Trinkl World Cup slope and the Inferno piste with a maximum gradient of 70%. Advanced skiers will need staying power for the long and challenging slopes from the Schafkogel and down to the base station. Hinterstoder is the only World Cup venue in Upper Austria.
