Slopes/runs Hintertux Glacier (Hintertuxer Gletscher)
The slopes lead primarily through treeless terrain. From the Tuxer Fernerhaus upwards, there is glacial ice beneath the slopes. Only the valley run to Hintertux leads through a forested area. Most of the slopes here are intermediate in level. Easy slopes are found on the Sommerbergalm as well as at the Kaserer and Olperer tow lifts. A steep, groomed slope awaits sporty skiers and snowboarders at the Lärmstange 2 6-person chairlift. Numerous unprepared ski routes also offer challenges.
