The ski resort of Hoch-Imst is very suitable for families. The practice area and the ski school children's area are ideal for young beginners. The clearly laid out terrain, slopes with gentle inclines and modern 10-person gondola lifts ensure family-friendly skiing fun. The prices are reasonable. The toboggan runs and Alpine Coaster offer variety. At certain times, free ski lessons are even available for children.

Hoch-Imst practice area

Right next to the base station in Hoch-Imst, there is a flat, sunny practice area (Winterpark Hoch-Imst). The popular snow playground has a practice lift and a children's area run by the ski school. The slope is also popular for tobogganing. A separate ski pass can be purchased for the practice lift.

Children's area run by the Skischule Imst ski school

The children's area is located right next to the base station at the practice area (Winterpark Hoch-Imst). Children can have lots of fun here while learning their first turns. Dedicated ski instructors, moving carpets and the neighbouring practice lift support fast progress.

Hoch-Imst toboggan run

Hoch-Imst has two natural toboggan runs. The Untermarkter Alm toboggan run is particularly popular. The UAlm-Bahn 10-person gondola lift takes you comfortably up to the start. It is 4 kilometres long and has a height difference of 500 metres. The Obermarkter Alm toboggan run starts at the Latschenhütte and leads to the stop for the Rastbühel city bus. It is 6 kilometres long and has a height difference of 600 metres.

Alpine Coaster Imst

The world's longest alpine roller coaster runs from the middle station down to the base station in Hoch-Imst. It is 3.5 kilometres long and can be accessed conveniently from the UAlm-Bahn 10-person gondola lift. The Alpine Coaster is open regularly in winter.
