The culinary offering could not be better. Winter sports enthusiasts can find cosy, rustic huts with large sun terraces throughout the entire ski resort. There is a good balance of self-service restaurants and restaurants with table service. You won’t find any mass-produced food in the restaurants here.

Steinbockalm
At the Gabühel at 1,634 metres
Two cosy, rustic huts are linked by a chilled bar and lounge area. Visitors can enjoy beautiful mountain views from the large panoramic terrace on top - an open-area cinema for the huge horizon.
tom Almhütte
At the mountain station of the Natrunbahn and Sonnbergbahn lifts in Maria Alm
The tom Almhütte is a very different kind of hut. Its mascot is a pug dog called Choupette. Modern architecture comes together with rustic charm and a spectacular mountain panorama. The menu features hut cuisine with international influences.
Karbachalm
Directly below the mountain station of the Karbachalm cable car
This restaurant with table service offers regional specialities in a relaxed atmosphere. A fireplace and comfortable chairs will make you feel at home.
Die Deantnerin
At the Bürglalm chairlift in Dienten
The Deantnerin is traditional, cosy and urban. It serves regional and seasonal cuisine, from traditional to modern.
Wiesnstadl
50 metres above the base station of the Schwarzeckalmbahn and Sinalcobahn lifts
Wine recommendations are made by the sommelier and Pinzgau specialities are served in the cosy Wiesnstadl.
Almbar Hinterthal
At the Fasching lifts in Hinterthal
Very cosy hut with a large sun terrace. Pinzgau specialities are served here. From a Weißwurst (veal sausage) breakfast to an evening meal, this hut is definitely worth a visit. It also has an impressive wine selection.

Hochmaisalm
At the Hochmaisabfahrt slope to Hinterthal
From the outside, it looks like a very traditional place, but on the inside, the Hochmaisalm reveals itself to be a mountain hut with modern extras. The Hochmaisalm also offers hearty evening meals, with transport provided by the restaurant’s snowcat.
Bürglalm
At the Wastlhöhelift base station at 1,593 metres
You can enjoy the freshly prepared dishes in the cosy hut or on the terrace. The Bürglalm is well known far beyond the borders of the province of Salzburg.
Tiergarten Alm
At slope number 4 from the Kings Cab gondola lift
The Tiergarten Alm offers cosiness and enjoyment by the open fireplace and on the large terrace. Après-ski starts at the umbrella bar from early afternoon onwards.
Hochkönigalm
At the base station of the Dachegg 6-person chairlift
The Hochkönigalm offers a gastronomic experience with an open fireplace and cosy dining rooms. Ideal for a long break.
Jausenstation Wastlalm
On slope 14 between the Abergalmbahn lift and Karlift
The Jausenstation Wastlalm services traditional cuisine in a rustic atmosphere, using mainly home-grown produce. It also has a comfortable terrace.
Zapferlalm
At the base station of the Kings Cab in Mühlbach
The Zapferlam is a cosy place to stop for a break and also has an après-ski umbrella bar - if it starts to get late, you can ski all the way to Mühlbach.
Gabühelhütte
Beside the Gabühelbahn mountain station
A small and cosy hut with table service and a sun terrace. An ideal place to stop before the valley run to Dienten.
