The ski resort of Hochoetz is located at the entrance to the Ötztal Valley. The base station of the Acherkogelbahn lift is just a few minutes from the exit of the A12 Inntalautobahn motorway. Sufficient free parking is available there. There is another entry point in Ochsengarten.

Winter Closure
The Timmelsjoch-Hochalpenstrasse (pass from the end of the Öztal Valley to Italy/South Tyrol) is closed from October until May.
