The ski resort of Hochzeiger is very child-friendly and family-friendly. The ski resort offers special deals for families:
children under 10 years of age receive a free ski pass (Bambinifreiskipass) when one of the parents purchases a ski pass. Differentiated price levels are available for children and young people. There is also the ‘Jungfamilienskipass’ (young family ski pass) for families with children under 3 years of age. The ski pass can be used by both parents at different times. Free children’s ski lessons are offered at specific times for beginners up to 6 years of age staying in accommodation in the Pitztal Valley.

The “Spielplatz Schnee” ski school programme introduces children from 3 to 6 years of age to the excitement of skiing. The Funline is a great attraction for the whole family. Children can have fun while learning the rules of the slopes on Pitzi’s ‘skiing rules track’. The Hochzeiger ski school offers daycare for children starting from under one-year of age. There is a ski school children's area at the middle station and the Bambinipark at the base station. The selection of runs and the toboggan run are also very suitable for families.

Spielplatz Schnee (Winter Playground)

The “Spielplatz Schnee” (Winter Playground) concept is designed for children between three and six years of age. Ski lessons in small groups in the morning are followed by fun times playing in the snow in the afternoon. Together with the mascots Pitzi and Gratsch, children can toboggan, build igloos or hike through the snow.

The funline offers lots of thrills for the whole family with a wave run, figures to high-five, fun elements and other obstacles.

Pitzi’s skiing rules track

Children can have fun while learning the FIS rules of the slopes on the ‘skiing rules track’. The mascot Pitzi plays an active role and clear information boards are provided to help children have fun while learning the rules. The track is located at the Zirbenbahn lift.

Children's area operated by Hochzeiger ski school

A large ski school practice area is situated right next to the Hochzeiger middle station. It has people movers, a children's carousel, a warm-up stage and the Pitzi Express.

Bambinipark operated by Hochzeiger ski school

The Bambinipark is located right next to the base station and is an ideal place for children to practise their first turns. There is also a playground.

Toboggan run

A 6 kilometre floodlit toboggan run leads from the middle station down to the base station. It passes through a 75 metre tunnel with special effects. The gondola lift takes you comfortably up to the start of the run. Night tobogganing is held once a week.

Pitzi's Kinderrestaurant (children's restaurant) is located in the Zeigerrestaurant and has its own children's playroom.
