There are slopes of all difficulty levels at the Hovden ski resort. Easy and intermediate slopes as well as some difficult slopes lead down from the Nos in the direction of Hovden, while the slopes on the Hovdenuten range from easy to intermediate. The upper part of the ski resort is above the treeline. Lower down, the slopes lead through forests and through forest aisles to the valley.
