Snow-reliable rating Hunau – Bödefeld
The Hunau was one of the first ski areas in Sauerland to install snow-making equipment. As of 1992, snow was made only on the lower slope. This was expanded in 2004 to include snow-making on almost all of the slopes. Their equipment has been expanded and optimized since then so that the Hunau has become one of the most snow reliable ski areas in Sauerland. The fact that all slopes are northern-facing also helps.
