A very good selection of places to stop for food and drink can be found throughout the ski resort, with the exception of on the summits of the Piz Val Gronda, Palinkopf, Greitspitze, Idjoch and Viderjoch. Most of the restaurants and ski huts offer both table service and self-service. The highlights are definitely the Alpenhaus restaurant, Pardorama restaurant and Schmuggler Alm. All restaurants in Ischgl and Samnaun offer very good food, excellent wines and sun terraces. The hotel restaurants in the villages of Ischgl and Samnaun are also a good option.

Restaurant Alpenhaus
On the Idalp at 2,320 m
The Alpenhaus is probably the most stylish "ski hut" in the Alps. Top-quality food and drinks can be enjoyed in a self-service area on the ground floor and a gourmet restaurant on the first floor with a lounge and a beautiful sun terrace.
Restaurant Pardorama
At the Pardatschgrat mountain station at 2,624 m.
Probably the most spectacular mountain restaurant in Tyrol, at the peak of the Pardatschgrat. There is a self-service area on the ground floor and an exceptional à-la-carte restaurant with a large sun terrace on the first floor. The dishes range from down to earth to exclusive and you can always find the right wine to accompany your choice. It is also home to the highest conference room in Austria.
Gampenalpe
Above the base station of the Gampen six-person chairlift at 1,990 metres
The Gampenalpe was completely renovated for the 2018/19 season and impresses with a typical hut atmosphere combined with modern touches. This table-service restaurant offers Tyrolean specialities. There is also a self-service area. The Vogelnestbar is an inviting place to spend some time. In summer, the cowshed on the meadow is used for farming.
La Marmotte restaurant
On the Alp Trida at 2,263 m
La Marmotte is a gourmet and speciality restaurant located directly beside the slopes in Samnaun. There are also two small sun terraces located on the first floor of the Alp Trida. In fine weather, a reservation is essential.
Idalp Panorama restaurant
Directly on the Idalp at 2,320 m
The Panorama restaurant on the Idalp is the highest gourmet village in Tyrol. Tyrolean delicacies and international cuisine are served in elegant dining rooms and on the large sun terrace. You can enjoy exclusive burgers, premium beef, lamb and fish here, complemented by a glass of wine from the wide selection.
Schmuggler-Alm
In Samnaun, at the end of the Duty Free Run to the valley.
The Schmuggler-Alm is a rustic and cosy mountain hut with a sun terrace serving Swiss specialities. You can enjoy first-class cuisine and a large wine selection here. One highlight is a Samnaun cheese fondue. The transition to après-ski begins in the early afternoon.
Höllboden restaurant
On the Höllboden at 2,141 m
The Höllboden restaurant consists of a self-service area and a table service section. A cosy lounge adds the finishing touch. In addition to Italian-influenced cuisine, the restaurant also serves typical Tyrolean specialities.
Saalas restaurant
At the base station of the Greitspitzbahn and Viderjochbahn 2 lifts
The top floor of the Salaas restaurant offers table service area and Swiss specialities. The menu includes fondue, raclette and steaks, as well as soups, salads and pasta dishes. It also has a self-service restaurant with a large rooftop sun terrace and the Skyline Bar.
Sattel restaurant
On the Alp Trida Sattel at 2,488 m
The Sattel restaurant offers good food in self-service and table service areas. A large sun terrace adds the finishing touch. One highlight is the VIP Lounge including a bar, comfortable chairs to relax in and a unique mountain view.
Alp Trida restaurant
On the Alp Trida at 2,263 m
The self-service Alp Trida restaurant has been completely renovated for the 2017/18 season. The menu includes pizzas baked in a wood-burning oven, wraps and stir-fries. Only holders of a ski pass can enter the restaurant, where they can then indulge to their heart's content. When they are finished eating, they need to check out at the till. You reserve everything on your ski pass here and then pay just once as you leave. It is a completely new concept.

Vider Alp
Slightly below the Idalp at almost 2,300 m
The Vider Alp is a rustic ski hut with table service, an ice bar and a large sun terrace. Diners can enjoy Tyrolean specialities in the cosy dining room with mature timber decor. The Vider Alp is also open for night tobogganing.
Alp Bella
At the Griavela quad chairlift at 2,380 m
The Alp Bella offers rustic and cosy dining rooms in a table service section. The hut’s specialities include Swiss rösti and grilled chicken. The restaurant also has a self-service area and a large sun terrace.
