The ski resort of Kasberg is situated slightly to the east of Grünau im Almtal, in the heart of the Salzkammergut area in Upper Austria. It is just a short drive from the central area of Upper Austria (around 60 minutes from Linz and Steyr; around 45 minutes from Wels and Vöcklabruck). There are some car parks directly at the base station. A shuttle bus provides transport from the car parks located further away.
