Lifts/cable cars Kaunertal Glacier (Kaunertaler Gletscher)
A 4-person chairlift with a middle station that you can travel straight through starts on the Ochsenalm at 2,150 metres. Since 2021, the Weißseejoch 10-person gondola lift has provided access to attractive new slopes from the middle station. The glacier car park at 2,750 metres, the arrival point for the 4-person chairlift, is also the starting point for the Karlesjoch 8-person gondola lift and, since 2019, the 100-person Funifor Falginjoch wind-stable cable car. Both lifts travel up to over 3,100 metres. On the glacier, two tow lifts provide access to more slopes. There is also a moving carpet at the glacier car park. A snowcat (Nörderjoch snow taxi) also transports winter sports enthusiasts to the Nörderjoch (3,062 metres). The lifts are accessible for people with disabilities.
