This is unique throughout the world and symbolizes the bond between the Czech Republic and Germany. This gain in prestige for the Ore Mountains will significantly influence the all-year tourism in the Klinovec-Fichtelberg Region positively and realises the long-term plan to connect the two ski resorts. Both peaks are connected via a low-emission method and the infringement on the natural environment is minimized.
