Killington is the largest ski resort in the east of the USA and is also known as “The Beast of the East”. It extends over 6 mountains: Killington Peak (1,293 metres), Snowdon Mountain (1,095 metres), Rams Head Mountain (1,100 metres), Skye Peak (1,158 metres), Bear Mountain (1,005 metres) and Sunrise Mountain (749 metres). At 1,293 metres, Killington Peak is the highest mountain with lift access in New England. The ski resort also boasts the greatest altitude difference in New England. A merger with the nearby ski resort of Pico Mountain (1,209 metres) is planned. Killington ski passes are also valid in Pico Mountain.
