The ski resort of Killington offers the longest ski season in the east of the USA. All of the main runs have complete snow-making capabilities and the season generally runs from the end of October until the end of May. The record was a season start on 1 October and close on 22 June. The Superstar slope has an extreme snow covering each year and the snow depth on the slope is generally over 10 metres through until spring. Killington also offers a “snow guarantee” for day tickets. If you are not satisfied with the conditions, within the first hour after purchase you can exchange your ski pass for a voucher for another day in the season.
