The Kimberley ski resort is located in the Purcell Mountains, one of the most snow secure regions in British Columbia. Snow cannons are available on North Star Mountain to ensure the start of the season. The Tamarack Ridge, Vimy Ridge and Black Forest sections are dependent on natural snow.
