The ski resort of Kläppen is located in the Province of Dalarna in the community of Sälen. It is around 400 kilometres north-west of Stockholm. It is relatively far from any main roads and the journey to the ski resort and the town of Sälen takes you over scenic roads. From the town of Sälen, it is around 15 kilometres to the ski resort of Kläppen. Parking is available at the base station or middle station of the gondola lift. Parking at the middle station and accessing the ski resort from there is recommended.
