95th International Lauberhorn Races

Date 2025-01-17 until 2025-01-19
Location Kleine Scheidegg - Wengen

The Lauberhorn Race is a ski race organised by the FIS (International Ski Federation) with a downhill ski race, a slalom and a combined.

It has taken place in Wengen in the Jungfrau region every year since 1930. The legendary Lauberhorn downhill race is especially well known. With a length of approximately 4.5 km and skiing time of around 2 minutes and 30 seconds, it is the longest of all downhills, and at just under 160 km/h it also shows the highest maximum speed.
The Lauberhorn Race is one of the Alpine Ski World Cup classics and is traditionally held in January, one week before the Hahnenkamm Race in Kitzbühel. On the programme on Friday is the super combined, which was held for the first time in the 2005 World Cup in Wengen. This is followed by the downhill on Saturday and slalom on Sunday.
