Test result

4 out of 5 stars

Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Kreischberg

The ski resort is very concerned about the environment. Ski buses and a train station promote environmentally friendly travel. Shuttle transport on all buses and trains operated by Steiermark Bahn is even free of charge. After preparation of the snow base at the start of the season, many snow cannons up in the ski resort are returned to storage to avoid impairing views of the landscape. The slopes are not opened until there is sufficient snow coverage. Skiing through forest areas is prohibited.
