The evaluation is done as follows
Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Kronplatz (Plan de Corones)
There are some very attractive and challenging black slopes at Kronplatz. One highlight is the Black Five Challenge, consisting of 5 black runs located in different areas of the ski resort: the Sylvester and Herrnegg valley runs towards Reischach, the Pre da Peres slope, the famous Ski World Cup Erta slope and the Piculin slope. Since the winter of 2023/2024, the Sorega slope, a variant of the Erta slope, has expanded the black slope offering on the Kronplatz.
The very difficult Piculin run is one of the steepest slopes in Italy and has been selected several times as the “Best Black Run”. The offering for freeriders is limited.
- few freeride/deep snow areas
- few mogul slopes
