The winter sports resort of Kvitfjell is one of the larger ski resorts in Norway. The alpine ski resort of Kvitfjell was developed for the 1994 Olympic Games. Since then, Kvitfjell has evolved from purely a downhill area to a complete ski resort extending over three mountain slopes. At over 800 vertical metres, the slopes offer one of the greatest altitude differences in Norwegian ski resorts.
