The Lachtal ski resort is located in the Murtal holiday region in the western part of Styria. It can be accessed from the east as well as from the west via well-built roads through the Murtal from St. Michael im Lungau or from Judenburg. When coming from the north, you take the Trieben exit off the A9 Pyhrn Autobahn. From the south, many roads lead from the A2 Süd (South) Autobahn to the Lachtal ski resort. The last stretch is via a mountain road up to 1,600 m. There are sufficient parking spaces for visitors at the base station.
