Access, Parking Lake Louise
The ski resort of Lake Louise is situated in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It is located in the province of Alberta and is 60 kilometres from Banff. Calgary is around 190 kilometres away. The ski resort is just 3 kilometres from the Trans-Canada Highway and sufficient parking is available around the base station. Anyone wishing to park directly at the entrance to the ski resort needs to buy a VIP Parking Pass. However, this can only be purchased for a whole season at a cost of several hundred dollars. This means that the only option for day visitors is the free-of-charge car parks around the ski resort. As the ski resort of Lake Louise is located in Banff National Park, a payable Park Pass is always required. This must be purchased before entering the Park.
