1/6 Ski slopes Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry (Paradiski)
Les Arcs offers suitable possibilities for every skill level. Beginners and enjoyment skiers prefer the wide forest runs on the Northwestern slope in the direction of the low lying villages or the high alpine slopes along the Arcabulle chair lift. The best carving runs are located beneath the Le Derby chair lift. Advanced skiers will find their challenges on the steep and partially unprepared mogul slopes surrounding the Aiguille Rouge.

Interconnection information
In 2003, Les Arcs was connected to its neighbour, La Plagne, forming the comprehensive Paradiski resort with 425 km of slopes.

With the exception of the small village of Bourg Saint Maurice at the foot of the ski resort, all of the villages in Les Arcs can be accessed by blue and red valley runs. The Rouelles mogul slope also leads to Arc 1600 and those living in Plan Peisey will conquer the last challenge of the day on the Ecureuils black run.

Longest run

From the peak of the Aiguille Rouge at 3226 m, you can ski down on the slope of the same name all the way to Villaroger in the valley. The upper part of the slope is narrow and very steep, but you will be rewarded for your efforts with a grand view. The lower part becomes wider and more flat and lead through a long stretch of forest to the little village of Villaroger at 1200 m altitude.

The three black runs beneath the Varet gondola are something for very experienced skiers. They are all steep, unprepared and extremely bumpy. The Lanches is a bit less skied and often has a soft layer of snow. You can view the slopes well from the gondola and can consider if you really want to attempt them or if you'd rather take the red slope instead.

The red Bellette run located beneath the Le Derby ski lift is an absolute carving dream. Especially in the morning, freshly prepared and covered with sunshine, the wide slope invites you for wide curves and high speeds. - Bois de l'Ours
Beneath the Bois de l'Ours (in English: Bear Forest), there is a black run of the same name. This unprepared "slope" is especially recommendable when there is new snow and good weather. When the conditions are perfect, it's best to get there early because the slope can be quite tracked in the afternoon. - Plan Bois
The Plan Bois blue run is the horizontal connection for all runs between Arc 1800 and Plan Peisey. Beginners can use this slope to comfortably access (without pushing) all of the parallel blue and red slopes leading to the villages - a perfectly connected area for practicing and enjoying.
