There are two cross-country areas in Leukerbad. One is located directly near the town of Leukerbad and offers various trails with a total length of 12 km. The other is the Gemmi area at 2000 m above sea level that offers two trails (7 km and 10 km long). The Gemmi area is accessed with the Gemmi cable car from Leukerbad and then with aerial tramway down to the Daubensee. The Gemmi area is ideal for cross-country skiers who wish to enjoy their sport in a more natural environment.
