Beginners Loser – Altaussee
The ski resort of Loser is a beginners’ paradise. The entire ski resort can be explored on easy slopes. Children can practise their first turns at the moving carpet in the Skikinderland children's area. Two local ski schools offer professional ski instruction here. From the moving carpet, children can progress to the practice lift and then the button lift. Easy slopes can be found on the Sandling side and also on the Loser side, where they lead from the mountain down to the valley. The treeless slopes at the Loserfenster 4-person chairlift can also be explored on easy runs. Austria's longest family slope (Familienabfahrt) leads down to the valley over a distance of 9 kilometres. A tow rope with a practice slope beside the Loseralm at the Panoramabahn mountain station completes the lift facilities.
