Environmental protection of the ski resort Loser – Altaussee

The ski resort of Loser takes measures to protect the environment and prohibits skiing through the forests. Power is produced by a photovoltaic system in the ski resort. The energy-conserving use of the Augstsee (natural lake) and the new reservoir on the Sandlingalm using (mainly) inherent pressure increased the energy efficiency of snow-making operations in 2017. The removal of some parking areas has also freed up 5,000 square metres. The mountain huts serve mainly regional dishes.
