Rustic and snug mountain huts can be found throughout the ski resort of Loser. There are three restaurants at the Loser arena base station. The main focus is regional dishes from the Ausseerland region. The views from the sun terraces of the Loser-Alm, Loserhütte and Stellenkogelhütte mountain huts are unforgettable.

Geiger Alm
At the Sandling base station at 855 m
The Geiger Alm is the most rustic hut in the entire ski resort of Loser. On cold days, you can warm up in cosy dining rooms with tiled stoves. The sun terrace is an inviting place to sit in fine weather. The hut serves Styrian specialities.
Loserhütte
Under the mountain station of the double chairlift at 1,540 m
The Loserhütte serves Styrian specialities. Its large sun terrace is an inviting place to sit in fine weather. The home-made Zirmschnapps (stone pine schnapps) is a particular treat and an Ausseer speciality.
Stellenkogelhütte
Right beside the FIS slope close to the Loser Jet I mountain station at 1,325 m
The Stellenkogelhütte is the smallest mountain hut in the ski resort of Loser. A stop in this hut with a family atmosphere is also an opportunity to enjoy a great view of the Dachstein glacier.
Alpenstub'n Losermaut
Slightly above the Loser arena at 870 m
The Alpenstub'n Losermaut has a cosy and rustic atmosphere with a lot of wood. The food here is very good, with a menu including burgers, fish and regional specialities.
Loser-Alm Bergrestaurant
Slightly above the base station of the Loserfenster 4-person chairlift at 1,600 m
The Loser-Alm invites locals and visitors to enjoy its culinary highlights. The mountain restaurant on the Loser-Alm offers an amazing view from the large sun terrace and is a popular stopping place for skiers, snowboarders, tobogganers and ski tourers.
Blaa-Alm
About 2 km from the car park at the end of the valley
Although it is not located directly within the ski resort, the Blaa-Alm is a real insiders’ tip. It can be reached easily by cross-country trail or by car. You can still enjoy typical traditional fare here, with dishes based on old Styrian and Ausseer recipes.
