Environmental protection of the ski resort Marmot Basin – Jasper

The ski resort is located within the Jasper National Park and they place a very high value on environmental protection. All changes to the ski resort must be approved and are subject to very special regulations. The Jasper-Marmot Shuttle (with fee) travels a few times a day from Jasper up to the Marmot Basin ski resort. The ski bus is free if you purchase your ski pass in advance via a tour operator.

    The train station in Jasper is located about 20 km away from the Marmot Basin ski resort. The Jasper Marmot Shuttle provides access to the ski resort from there. VIA-Rail Canada provides a connection from Vancouver and Edmonton to Jasper.
