Advanced skiers will find what they're looking for at the Marmot Basin ski resort. There are some difficult slopes at the Eagle Ridge quad chairlift and at the Paradise quad chairlift. A dozen extremely difficult slopes (double diamonds) are found in the Eagle East area. The Knob double chairlift provides access only to difficult slopes (with one exception). From the mountain station of the Knob chairlift, you can hike up an additional 202 meters to Marmot Peak (2612 m) and swing down over almost untouched terrain.
