The ski resort is just 30 kilometres from the Inntalautobahn motorway (Zillertal exit). Day visitors and anyone travelling by car should choose the Horbergbahn lift as an entry point. Overnight visitors should use the entry points in the villages in which they are staying, for example, the Penkenbahn lift in Mayrhofen. On changeover day on Saturdays, there can be traffic jams in the Zillertal.
