The ski resort of Moelltal Glacier is situated in the heart of the National Park Region Hohe Tauern. Access to the Moelltal Glacier is either via Spittal an der Drau (Tauern Autobahn), Lienz (from the north via the Felbertauern Tunnel) or with the ÖBB Tauernschleuse Boeckstein-Mallnitz. From Flattach, you drive up about 8 km on a well-built mountain road to the car park at the funicular. The car park is located directly next to the entrance and is free of charge.
