Access Mount Parnassos – Fterolakka/Kellaria & on-site parking

The ski resort on Mount Parnassos is located in Central Greece between the famous cities of Athens (around 180 kilometres/2.5 hours) and Thessalonica (around 370 kilometres/4 hours). Mountain roads lead to the two base stations of Kellaria (1,750 metres) and Fterolakka (1,650 metres) from both sides. The best place to park is on the perfectly tarmacked car parks directly around the base stations. From Fterolakka, another mountain road leads up to the Fterolakka middle station (1,850 metres) with additional parking spaces. Parking is free of charge everywhere. When fresh snow has fallen, it is advisable to carry snow chains. These can also be hired easily in the villages in the valley.
