Environmental protection of the ski resort Mount Parnassos – Fterolakka/Kellaria

The Parnassos Ski Center is located in the Parnassos National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Greece. The environment is therefore a very important concern for the ski resort and the park is home to many wild animals. Most of these are protected species. The resort also relies entirely on natural snowfalls and the slopes are only opened when there is sufficient snow coverage. The ski bus company Claudatos runs 1 to 2 ski bus connections daily from Athens to the ski resort and back. However, the restaurants still use disposable crockery and plastic cups.

Public transportation/on-site mobility

  • No direct train connection
