Most of the slopes in the ski resort of Mt. Hutt are accessed from the Summit Six Chair 6-person chairlift. The first 8-person chairlift in New Zealand provides access to the slopes and the snow park in the lower area. The 3-person chairlift takes winter sports enthusiasts from the lowest point back up the mountain. Moving carpets complete the lift facilities.
