Advanced skiing/powder snow skiing Mt. Hutt

The ski resort of Mt. Hutt is a paradise for experts. Difficult slopes are distributed all over the winter sports resort. From the Virgin Mile slope, almost a dozen extremely steep, and in some cases perfectly prepared, slopes branch off. Mt. Hutt also offers great off-piste terrain. The South Face has attractive extreme runs, all of which end at the Towers Triple Chair base station. From the Virgin Mile, you go to the Rakaia Saddle Chutes. The difficult and ungroomed runs end at the access road to the ski resort and a shuttle base takes freeriders back to the base station.
