Environmental protection of the ski resort Nakiska

The Nakiska ski resort takes the protection of the environment and the preservation of the wonderful landscape of the Canadian Rocky Mountains very seriously. They have implemented programs for conserving water and energy and for recycling. Production of artificial snow is according to the guidelines of the NSAA's (National Ski Areas Association) Sustainable Slopes Program. Under the motto: "Tress are for Glades", Nakiska has strongly reduced the amount of printed advertising brochures and plants a tree for each new Newletter subscriber.
