Beginners Nassfeld – Hermagor
The Nassfeld ski resort has several very good areas for beginners. In the base area in Tröpolach, there is a moving carpet and a tow rope with easy slopes as well as a ski school. Around the Tressdorfer Alm, there is a moving carpet, button lifts with easy slopes and a children's area run by the ski school. Beginners can find button lifts with easy slopes and a children's area run by the ski school at the Sonnenalpe Nassfeld and at the top of the Passo Pramollo. A ski school also offers lessons at Sonnleitn and there are easy slopes at the button lift.
Outside the practice areas, the slopes are generally intermediate and it is not possible to explore the complete ski resort on easy slopes. However, many of the red slopes are very wide and can be tackled by advanced beginners. In the evening, beginners should take the Millennium-Express down to the valley from Tröpolach because the long slopes including the Carnia valley run are not suitable for beginners.
