Beginners can find very good conditions for their first attempts on skis or a snowboard in Nauders. There are lots of wide and easy slopes in particular around Bergkastel. The Goldpark Nauders offers beginners a new attraction, the new Snow-Base Bergkastel at 2,200 metres with covered moving carpets. There are wide and easy slopes at the Goldseebahn lift. The valley run over the Waldabfahrt and Avagrassaabfahrt slopes is very easy. There is another button lift for practising in the valley. The ski path to Nauders is also very easy and can be tackled even by beginners for the return to Nauders. The local ski schools offer ski lessons for all age groups.
