Mountain hut tip
Stieralm
At the Stieralmabfahrt slope at around 2,000 metres
The hut has retained its rustic and traditional charm despite new construction. The table-service restaurant extends over 2 floors and also has a large sun terrace. The Zirbenstüberl lounge is a cosy place to relax. The special ambiance makes it inviting to linger for a while after lunch. You can also take your ski boots off and put on some slippers here. A separate room is available with ski boot heaters.
Lärchenalm
At the Martannesabfahrt slope and Bergkastel valley run at 1,750 metres
The Lärchenalm has a cosy indoor area, a conservatory and a beautiful sun terrace. It serves delicious Tyrolean specialities. It is also the meeting point for night tobogganing.
Das Jochelius
At the base station of the Tscheyeckbahn and Gaislochbahn lifts at 1,900 metres
The Jochelius serves very good food in cosy dining rooms or on the sun terrace. The freshly made pizzas are highly recommended. A very attractive bar adds the finishing touch. You can also enjoy the last rays of sunshine here before skiing straight back down to the valley.
