    Due to the elevation level and partial snow-making capabilities, the ski resort is relatively snow reliable. The slopes leading to the Gund lifts in the upper part of the Tannheim/Neunerköpfle ski resort are eastern facing and the other slopes face the northwest. The snow remains for quite a while because it is not so exposed to the sun.
