Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Niseko United – Annupuri/Grand Hirafu/Hanazono/Niseko Village

The ski resort of Niseko United has established a very widespread reputation for its excellent snow conditions. The highlights are the powder snow slopes through sparse forests and the mogul slopes. It snows almost every day during the main season, providing lots of opportunities to enjoy fresh powder snow. The “Japow” (Japan powder) experience in the sparse woodland is very special. Some challenging and difficult slopes complete the offering. From the mountain station of the 1-person chairlift King Lift #4, you can travel up to the summit of the 1,308-metre-high Mt. Niseko Annupuri and then glide back down to the valley on beautiful untouched slopes. Some ski schools also offer lessons for expert skiers and freeriders, including the Hanazono Powder Guides and the NVSS All Mountain Explorer. Cat-skiing is also available in Hanazono.
