The ski resort is very suitable for children and families. The Schneekinderland (snow children's area) run by the Ski School Ostrachtal is located at the base station of the Iseler lift. It is a large and lovingly designed practice area. There is another well-equipped children's area run by the Ski School Iseler at the Schwanden lift. Ski School Lanig and the SnowAcademy also operate children's areas. The slopes at the Schwanden lift and at the Idealhang lift are easy and there is an ideal practice area there. The manageability of the ski resort is also a plus for families. The Oberjoch Familux Resort, which is a leading family hotel, is located at the ski resort.

Schneekinderland run by the Ski School Ostrachtal

The Schneekinderland run by the Ski School Ostrachtal is a lovingly designed practice area. The little ones can learn to ski or snowboard in a playful way with plenty of variety in the 20,000 m² area. The very well-equipped children's area offers multiple magic carpets and tow rope lifts with different types of terrain. Additional highlights are the ski jumps and slalom course, a zone with steep walled curves, the fairy tale forest with animals, the mascot, a snow carousel and a Regenbogenwald (rainbow forest). Advanced children are brought to the 8-person Schwanden lift (with weather protectors and child safety restraints) by the Kinderlandexpress. It is easy for children to improve their skills at this beginner area. The Schneekinderland is free of charge for ski course participants and Bad Hindelang Plus members. Otherwise, there is a small fee for using the children's area. The Schneekinderland is open daily during the winter.

Children are also prioritized by Ski School Iseler. The children's area at the Schwanden lift features a beginner lift, a magic carpet, a snow carousel and a wave run. The highlight is the circus tent in which the ski children can enjoy punch and cookies.
