Beginners Obertauern
There are some practice slopes with moving carpets, tow lifts and chairlifts around the top of the pass at Obertauern where novices can practise in a peaceful setting. The covered moving carpet in Bobby's Monsterpark is ideal. You can practise your first turns here on a very wide and easy slope. The slopes at the Pernerlift, Sonnenlift 3, Kirchbühellift, Schrotteralmlift and the Edelweissbahn lift are also particularly recommended. Other moving carpets can be found only in the ski school children's areas for use during ski lessons. A large section of the Tauernrunde circuit can also be tackled by beginners.
