Palisades Tahoe is the largest ski resort at Lake Tahoe. The two areas of the ski resort, Olympic Valley (previously Squaw Valley) and Alpine Meadows, offer over 270 different runs. The modern Base to Base 8-person gondola lift links the two areas of the ski resort (since the 2022/2023 season). Palisades Tahoe extends over 8 peaks: Snow King (2,302 metres), Broken Arrow (2,447 metres), KT-22 (2,459 metres), Emigrant (2,674 metres), Washeshu Peak (2,708 metres), Granite Chief (2,745 metres), Ward Peak (2,633 metres) and Scott Peak (2,526 metres).
