The ski resort is located within the Stelvio Pass National Park. Other than the one snow cannon, there is no snow making equipment and they make sure garbage is disposed of correctly. There is no ski bus provided, but there is a scheduled bus line (Automobilistica Perego) that travels to the ski resort twice a week. Some of the pommel lifts are still operated using diesel generators.
