Access, Parking Patscherkofel – Innsbruck-Igls
The Patscherkofelbahn is located just 7 km south of the Tyrolean capital, Innsbruck. Innsbruck’s local mountain has started operating since 2017 above Igls at 1,009 m. The old valley station of the aerial cableway in Igls no longer exists. Access is very quick, either via the Inntal motorway, Innsbruck Mitte exit, or via the Brenner motorway, Patsch exit. The section on the Brenner motorway is subject to a toll. Parking at the Patscherkofelbahn is subject to a fee, but the amount is reimbursed when purchasing a ski pass. For skiers, parking is therefore free of charge.
