Ski lifts/ropeways Perisher
The alpine railway (Skitube) runs from the Bullocks Flat base station up to Perisher Valley and continues to Blue Cow. An extra ticket is needed for the train and you need to change in Perisher Valley for Blue Cow. Perisher Valley is home to the first 8-person chairlift in Australia. Access to the ski slopes is provided by some chairlifts and lots of tow lifts and button lifts. Most of the chairlifts are fixed grip and some are slightly older. None of the chairlifts have covers. Moving carpets complete the lift facilities.
